This
is my favourite recipe for a banana cake that I always bake. I don’t like to
write recipes in a formal manner. My method of recipe writing is almost the
sequence of how to bake it. This recipe prepares a half kilograms of banana
cake for 5-6 people as an evening snack. Tastes best with tea.
Some tips to remember:
§
Use room temperature butter for best results. If
the butter is not melted properly then allow it to melt before proceeding to
the next step.
§
Walnuts are just an option.
§
Try covering the cake tin with aluminium foil to
enable the cake remain soft.
§
Cake is ready if the knife is clean after poking
the cake.
§
If the batter in the tin is excessive, then try
to reduce the heat to 170*c and bake it for some extra time. If the heat is too
much, you might end up burning the crust of the cake.
