Then came the time after many many years, The time to rejoice always and wipe each other’s tears. Far in the town of Bethlehem a baby boy was born He was Christ the messiah, who was yet to be known. The Lost Time

Image
The Lost Time   On a bright morn, as I began to think;  into my ocean of thoughts I slowly began to sink. I remembered each moment with mother and father, how they worked for me when I didn’t bother. The teachers in my school used to tell me ways of life, b ut I would always dream and dream all the time. Now I have opportunities all coming my way,  but I ‘m not happy and thus I begin my day. Coz when all were busy learning , I was sitting and dreaming; but now I greatly regret  for the wasted time I cannot get. Time is very precious, money cannot buy it; but now it’s too late when I finally realized it.

Rainy Goa

Image
poem by Deial Johnson picture credit: indianexpress.com The sky cracks Its invisible shapeless barrel In Goa too this year; Several times, bit by bit, Causing the state’s bosom to overflow Of its pure drink. Drops of its jewels and precious stones That falls from heaven’s coffer Flows freely on Goa this year. Exhibiting its never ending fountain Everywhere around, With terrorizing celebrations.

Hyderabadi memories..

It offered many ‘first-time’ experiences in my life. It was this trip in my life that I travelled by train for the first time without my parents, the first time I saw the Dudhsagar falls, the first time I ever was in Hyderabad. I made so many friends there in 3 days- first time. The venue, Ashirwad Global Centre for Learning, Ghatkeskar, located in the state of Telangana was very refreshing, beautiful and well maintained. Food served at the site was tasty. The climate there was moderate   with occasional showers of rain. The streets looked very pale and dusty.     ICEU is a campus ministry and it is present in every state in India. A representative from each state was supposed to participate in this annual meeting. However, many

Broken Pieces

-poem by Deial Johnson Broken pieces Breathing now And mending itself to a whole Of trust and happiness.    Broken pieces,   Of a world of four   Come together and form a home,   Colorful,    Beautiful,   Of love and concern    With unmatched memories innumerable.   Broken pieces transform itself,   Immortalize itself.   Broken pieces now no longer remain broken.

Call of the Sea

Image
Call of the Sea - Deial Johnson For those who don’t know, I have a discovery to share The sea unlike humans and animals can speak! It speaks a language unheard to mere ears; It speaks- not in whispers- But roars; Sometimes fiercely, sometimes calm. I heard it share its sorrow to me- Sorrows vast as itself; Of dying lives and its polluted heart, Its tears multiplying daily. I heard the sea, My friend in whom I most confide, Calling out to me, To venture into its depths And explore its hidden secrets, To protect its world, That holds together the world. I heard the sea calling me…
